The App Store is full of roguelikes that stop to sell you something. These do not.
This list exists because it is hard to search for. Every price below was checked by hand rather than remembered, and each of these is a game you buy or unlock once.
Several of these also exist as an Arcade version, marked with a plus in the App Store: Balatro+, Slay the Spire+, Downwell+, Dead Cells+. Those come with an Apple Arcade subscription instead of a purchase, which means they leave your phone when the subscription stops. Worth knowing before you choose which version to install.
REELS is a slot machine roguelite: the reels spin, your weapons fire on what they land on, and the souls you reap pay a toll that climbs faster than you do. There is a free trial, what you earn in it stays yours, and one purchase unlocks the rest permanently. No ads, no lives, no energy, no currency, no account. It plays offline.
It is also the newest and by far the smallest thing on this list, made by one person and released in September 2026. Everything above it has more hours in it.
